I have been practicing massage since 1988. I received my training from the Brian Utting School of Massage here in Seattle. Why did I choose massage as a profession? As a child my parents loved to have their feet massaged and they would pay me a dollar a foot to do this for them. This helped me realize at an early age that I enjoyed making people feel better and that I enjoyed helping where I could; by learning the value of exchange by getting paid for helping others, my career path became clear. Over the years I have enhanced my training by taking many different types of continuing education classes in various techniques. This has allowed me to blend them into my work today. Some of these techniques include Spa treatments, Reiki, Deep Tissue, Myo Fascial release work, Foot Reflexology, Aromatherapy, and Medical Massage work.

I feel that my purpose in the world is to both help mankind and to create as an artist. Putting the two together is ideal. Having a fondness and ability to teach, I have had the opportunity to teach massage for 16 years at massage schools in Seattle and Tacoma. My goal was to create the best massage therapists I could, and I believe I did so. I feel doing massage is artistic – one needs to create a treatment, create an environment and create a rapport with a client that leads to a healing experience for the body, mind and spirit. I also like to educate my clients about things they might be able to do to improve their overall well being.
I am passionate about people receiving massage as it makes life just that much easier to deal with due to all the stress, tension and strain we all experience in our lives. It is your oasis, a “time out” that is totally yours for that one hour in a day. I would like to help facilitate that.As an artist I am passionate about video editing and film. I enjoy creating emotionally moving images/stories through the art of editing. I find I can help mankind through this medium too.
