If you are injured on the job in Washington, you are entitled to medical coverage from your employer and depending on the injury this may include massage. To get massage coverage you must first see your primary care doctor and get a prescription giving the diagnosis and number of visits recommended. New Seattle Massage will need your L&I claim number to process your L&I billing, so please have this available when setting up appointments. It’s also helpful to have your Claim Manager’s name and phone number.
Labor and Industries will pay for up to 6 visits at a time and then require a report from your massage practitioner for further treatment and a new prescription from your physician.
